Ingredients: (makes 6 pancakes)
100g fine semolina
50g all-purpose flour
1 Tsp baking powder
1 egg yolk (optional)
1 Tsp active dry yeast (Diluted in water)
220ml lukewarm water
Mix all the ingredients in a blender. let it sit to rise
for about an hour (Depends on room temperature).
mix again when ready. Heat a non-stick pan.
Fill 1/4 of a soup ladle with the dough an pour it on the pan.
Turn the setting to low.
Remove from the pan when the raw dough on the surface
disappears. Put it on a clean cloth.
Topping:
In a pan melt 2 Tbsp of Butter and 3 Tbsp of honey
Add little bit of water
let it boil for few minutes and pour on the pancakes.
You can also carmelize them in the oven.
